For this 1/1 project, Moritz Engel collaborated with ZURIGA, a Swiss brand known for its high-quality, manufactured espresso machines made in Switzerland, to create an alter ego of their ZURIGA E2-S.
The design turns the familiar on its head by visualising and emphasising the joyful and emotional side of the espresso machine as a tool.
Every Part has been carefully CNC-milled and hand-finished, stained and oiled, in ash wood to complement and contrast with the high-quality finish of the original machine's stainless steel housing.
