For this 1/1 project Moritz Engel collaborated with ZURIGA a Swiss brand, known for its high-quality, manufactured espresso machines made in Switzerland, to create an alter ego of their ZURIGA E2-S.
The design turns the familiar on its head by visualizing and emphasizing the joyful and emotional side of the espresso machine as a tool.
Every Part has been carefully CNC-milled and hand finished, stained and oiled ash wood, to compliment and contrast the high quality finish of the stainless steel housing of the original machine.
